"There is No Place Like Home" When It Comes To New Gospel Artist, Natashia Land Alford

Natashia Land Alford has had many wonderful opportunities to minister in song to the masses and in many wonderful places. But when it came to where she was going to debut her solo project and cd release, it was a no brainer. Natashia wanted to come home.

 "No matter where life takes you, home will always be where your heart is. I want to celebrate my achievement with the people that have support my gift all my life! Many times we have to take the message "home" before giving it abroad."

And that is  what this gifted singer is going to do on the first Saturday in August with her free concert, "There Is No Place Like Home!"


After 12 years, on Saturday, August 6, 2011,  the former small town southern girl with the soul stirring voice is returning
back to her hometown of Chester, SC to debut and perform her solo project, "For You Lord" at the Chester Middle School Auditorium on. Doors open 4PM. Concert begins 5PM.

The concert will also feature Northview Harvest Ministries Praise Ensemble of Laurinburg, NC and Praise Dancer,

Simone Eison of Jonesville, SC.

When asked about her amazing rich vocals which are vividly displayed on each track of "For you, Lord" the seventh child of eight instinctively knows how to be heard and admits, "As a child, I grew up singing with local church choirs. Once I recieved the Holy Ghost the words of all the old familiar hymns became more than just a sweet melody but rather my personal testimony. Which gave me the power to minister instead of just simply singing! It's all in my bones to worship and give God praise!" 

As a successful entrepreneur, wife and mother of three, Mrs. Alford still found time to provide her vocal talents to others as a psalmist and background vocalist but now it is her season to shine!

"This project has truly been a long time in the making, but through it all God has proven himself faithful to us and he is worthy of all the glory!"

The quote, "Beauty is, what beauty does." is truly a befitting statement for the phenomenal female

gospel rap artist known as Queen Esther. 

A breathtaking Latino beauty; Esther Arroyo aka "Queen Esther", possesses the rare exquisite features that can be compared to that of the legendary Lena Horne or Denise "Vanity" Matthews.

"I was introduced into the entertainment industry at a young age & ran headlong into the lifestyle of partying, drugs, etc. All the while knowing that I was called to the ministry of Jesus Christ. Yet in my rebellion & disobedience, God gave me the ability to compose poetry. I wrote many poems about my struggles and challenges.

After surrounding my life back to Christ, I began putting those poems to music, which are now the rap song that I ministry to sinners and Christian alike!"

Under the guidance of Pastor Donnie McClurkin and her Perfecting Faith Church Family, Queen Esther's calling has taken her to the Middle East where she ministered the Gospel "underground" in face of life threatening religious persecution.

Queen admits " It was my faith in God protected me & I was able to spread the Gospel untouched in a country where the mention of Jesus Christ can get one murdered."

With this experience, Queen Esther motto statement rings true, "If I perish, let me perish, but I am going to see the King."

 No longer running from her calling, Queen Esther still
enjoys running! But this time,
 in physcial races.

An avid marathon runner, Ms. Arroyo has under her belt one Miami Florida, two Atlanta, Ga and two consecutive New York marathons 
with plans in the work to run a London, England Marathon.

When this multi-talented beauty is not performing, creating music, or running a marathon, she is a motivational speaker that promotes education, host various workshops on prevalent issues concerning premartial sex, STDs, marriage, and divorce.
